Baked Brie with Cherry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie (200–300g)
  • 2–3 tbsp Bickford’s Cherry Syrup (see recipe)
  • ½ cup fresh cherries, halved and pitted
  • Crackers or crusty bread, for serving

Method

  1. Preheat to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place the brie on a lined baking tray or in a small oven-safe dish.
  3. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey but still holds its shape.
  4. Remove the brie from the oven and transfer it to a serving plate.
  5. Drizzle with cherry syrup and top with fresh cherry halves.
  6. Dust the top with cocoa powder or drinking chocolate, and garnish with coffee beans.
