Spiced Orchard Pear

Ingredients

  • 120ml Bickford’s Cloudy Pear Juice
  • 60ml ginger ale
  • 20ml Bickford’s Aromatic Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • Lemon peel
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • Ice

Method

  1. Add pear juice and cinnamon syrup to a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
  2. Strain into a glass and top with ginger ale, gently stirring to combine.
  3. Twist the lemon peel over the drink to release the citrus oils then add the peel along with a cinnamon stick and star anise.
  4. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

To serve warm

Gently heat pear juice, cinnamon syrup, cinnamon stick, and star anise together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until just warmed (do not boil). Strain into a glass, top with ginger ale, release lemon peel over the drink, and garnish with rosemary.
